1.4845 (X8CrNiSi25-21) is resistant to 30-50oC lower temperatures than SAE 310,1.4841.
It is used at high temperatures and where corrosion resistance is sought at these temperatures.
It should not be used at temperatures above 1100 0C. 310 S is the type with less carbon.
