Description

It is a special steel with high Cr – Mo – V alloy. It has high resistance to tempering. Compression strength and hot abrasion resistance are good. It has high tensile strength.

It is in the middle of hot work tool steels and cold work tool steels with 12% Cr in terms of both chemical and mechanical properties. It has high impact and hot abrasion

resistance in molds, punches and knives that make hot and cold cutting. It shows high performance in working environments where hot work tool steel is abrasive worn

and cold work tool steel is broken. It is a steel preferred by users because of its higher toughness and tempering temperature than 2379. Dörrenberg patented steel.

Suitable for CVD and PVD coating. Wear resistance is higher than impact steels. It has become a sought-after steel in iron and steel factories, flying shear blades, profile

cutting blades.

Application Areas

The depth of hardness is high. In molds exposed to high stresses and engraving molds with flat shapes such as cutlery, It is used in sheet metal cutting dies of 7 mm and above, punches, perforated punches with high tensile – compression forces, scissor blades, bolt rubbing combs, especially in molds of abrasive plastics. It can be used in cutting knives, plastering dies and also plastic injection moulds.
